Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatment is based on the principles of Oriental Medicine. It involves the application of ultra thin needles to specific points and areas of the face, head and body. This process can stimulate collagen production, strengthens the skins fibres, relaxes the muscles whilst increasing the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the skin.
Facial Rejuvenation Treatments
Treatments will be tailor-made according to the individuals needs. For best results it is recommended that you have a twelve weekly treatments.
Jade rollers, facial cupping and/or facial gua sha may also be incorporated within the treatments.
Facial Cupping
Facial cupping is a type of facial massage. Facial cupping uses suction cups directly on skin to promote circulation. It also helps stimulates your fascia. The fascia is a sheet of connective tissue, primarily collagen beneath the skin, that gives skin elasticity and firmness. Facial cupping stimulates lymphatic circulation, detoxifies, clears and brightens complexion. It can also help reduce facial swelling and puffiness.
Facial Gua Sha
Facial gua sha is a massage technique that will help increase circulation and lymphatic flow to your face. This massage technique stimulating blood circulation, which increases the amount of oxygen and nutrients to the skin, which in turn can improve skin health.
Regular facial gua sha can help firm the skin and promote increased skin elasticity.
Jade Rollers
Jade rollers relax facial muscles and provide a cooling sensation on the skin. It closes the pores while the roller moves lymph.
By encouraging lymphatic drainage, Jade rollers may boost the skin’s natural detoxification process. Jade rollers have been used in China for centuries to help preserve the skin’s youthful appearance.
